Born and raised in Hokkaido, Ami has been passionate about snow sports from a young age. She dived into the world of snowsports instructing in 2014 and quickly rose to prominence, reaching the podium at the Snowboard National Championships in 2018. After retiring from competitive snowboarding, Ami took her expertise to Afri-ski in Lesotho, Africa, where she focused on teaching kids the joys of snow sports. With instructor certifications from New Zealand, Australia, and Japan, Ami is well-equipped to help you master cool, confident riding and have a blast in the snow and mountains.
