PAULA
LAZDINA
Paula was born in Latvia, a country full of folklore, located in the northeast of Europe. Just like a popular Latvian folklore tells the story of the protagonist's journey to happiness by hiking a golden hill, Paula's story started by traveling around the world and riding down breathtaking hills every winter. After working in Latvia, Austria, New Zealand, and Australia, she decided to take her story further north to try out Japan's golden hill. Yes, Japow in Niseko really is better than gold, and that's why she's decided to return to conquer that golden hill again and take along anyone with the same desire.
Besides snow sports, Paula finds joy in culture and the arts, working at music festivals and other cultural projects, joining friends at a run club or biking session, or awaiting the sunrise on a SUP in the middle of a river.
Through snowsports lessons with her, you may learn not only how to improve your skiing or snowboarding by overcoming physical and emotional obstacles, but also about the traditions of drawing strength from nature, something Latvians, a nation of only 1.8 million people, have held dear for years.
