PETER
MADSEN
Hailing from the famously flat lands of Denmark, Peter first discovered skiing on family trips to Norway. A national-level swimmer in his youth, he spent more time in pools than mountains, but eventually swapped chlorinated lanes for fresh air, outdoor adventure, and multi-sport instructing.
During an outdoor leadership course, Peter’s love for helping people to learn and overcome challenges flourished and passion for skiing resurfaced with full force. With a background in Sports Science and years of coaching experience, he brings a thoughtful, confidence-building approach to every lesson, blending technical precision, calm yet precise guidance, and a touch of Scandy’s cool.
Since then, Peter has taught skiing in Canada and Japan, refining his craft in everything from deep powder to technical terrain. When he’s not on skis, he’s usually behind a camera, capturing the beauty of the mountains that keep him coming back for more.
Fun Fact: Peter once found himself racing a ferry on national television. It didn’t make him any faster on skis, but it definitely makes for a great chairlift story.
